			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Is an auto mechanic more knowledgeable in (and truthful about) how to return health to an automobile than a doctor is regarding how to return health to a human-being?</p>
<p>When your car is &#8220;running rough&#8221;, back firing, hesitating when you step on the accelerator pedal and stalling all the time&#8230; you bring it to an auto mechanic. If, after his diagnosis, he finds everything okay except the quality of the gas in the tank, he will (most likely) tell you. He knows, that if your car problems continues you most likely will not be coming back to his shop.</p>
<p>When you are &#8220;running rough&#8221;, back firing, hesitating to start in the morning and stalling after lunch&#8230; our worse&#8230; you are tired all the time, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic depression, pain in your joints, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, etc., etc., you take your body to the doctor.</p>
<p>A doctor only receives a few hours of training in med school on nutrition (http://www.ajcn.org/content/83/4/941S.full). Their practice is based on disease screening, not prevention, with a focus on drug therapies, not nutrition. And for cancer, it&#8217;s cut, poison and burn for it&#8217;s treatment. So is it any wonder they don&#8217;t relate your engine&#8217;s (your body&#8217;s) problems with the fuel you&#8217;re putting in your tank? If you want to follow the disease program&#8230; keep eating industrial food products and, their partner-in-crime, pharmaceuticals. If you want to follow a health program&#8230; find a nutritional therapist and learn what fuel your body was designed to have in it&#8217;s tank.</p>
<p>p.s. Don&#8217;t get me wrong. Doctors know how to treat trauma and they know how to reduce the symptoms and the effects of some disease&#8230; I&#8217;m talking about health here&#8230; The ability to avoid disease or to return healthy function to the body after disease has been diagnosed. But be sure to &#8220;talk to your doctor first&#8221; (&#8230;gotta get in the disclosure statement) and remember where they&#8217;re coming from.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The beginning steps in changing a mind set put in place for so many years, can be overwhelming. It is easy for me to say &#8220;eat real food&#8221; but for people who are used to grains and sugars in their breakfast, i.e toast, cereal, pancakes, syrup, waffles, orange juice, etc., they may find it difficult to know what to change it to. The image of &#8220;what&#8217;s for breakfast&#8221; is strong so I start my clients on just changing this one meal. Beginning with a plate of greens (kale, spinach, Swiss chard, or lettuce just to name a few) is at first a weird concept for people. Top that with two strips of high quality bacon and a local organic egg, sprinkled with freshly ground flax-seed, drizzled with high quality coconut oil and now you have a satisfying, healthy breakfast that will keep you all the way to lunch without blood sugar dips. This is food that doesn&#8217;t come out of a mega corporations laboratory packaging invention!</p>

<p>The results of such a search are overwhelmingly in the favor of&#8230; Yes, Cancer loves Sugar, Cancer&#8217;s food is sugar, thus would it not be a huge benefit for anyone with, or for anyone looking to avoid cancer, to abstain from sugars in all it&#8217;s forms.</p>
<p>Life is not about your tongue and providing it it&#8217;s drug. It&#8217;s about providing the best fuel for your partner in life which is your body, the only one you get this time around. Interview anyone who &#8220;gets this&#8221; and ask them if they are missing out of anything while avoiding someone&#8217;s store bought birthday cake or a sugar packed beverage which is better used as an engine de-greaser.</p>
<p>Starve cancer and you will also benefit in sooo many other ways. This is the perfect home remedy to help starve cancer. Why doesn&#8217;t the medical world tell you this, nor teach you this? Follow the money. There is more money in disease management then disease prevention.</p>
<p>Our most important firewall is not the one on our PCs, it the one on our face&#8230; It&#8217;s called the mouth. Treat this opening with the utmost security enforcement. So because Factory food / Wall Street food is not looking out for your best interest. My suggestion is that you do!!! Repeat after me&#8230; I empower or dis-empower myself through my choice of food.</p>

<p>I have a personal story to share&#8230;</p>

<p>My wife was a vegetarian for more than 20 years.  Trained in the Sport Medicine field she fed us whole-grain breads and pasta, rice milk, lots of soy/tofu,  organic brown rice dishes, and as much &#8216;organic&#8217; fruits and vegetables we could get our hands on.  Me being a &#8216;non-cook&#8217;  happily ate what ever she made.  For the 8 final years of her vegetarian diet I too was a strict vegetarian.  We thought we were doing ourselves &#8216;good&#8217;.  Eating accordingly to the USDA&#8217;s food pyramid (mostly grains and starches).  Our government&#8217;s recommended eating graphic has changed a little.  Now it is a <a href="http://www.choosemyplate.gov/" target="_blank">plate</a>, no longer a pyramid, yet little else has changed.</p>
<p>Well… we were were taught wrong about food.  My wife&#8217;s cholesterol was off the charts.  Being a runner and weight resistance trainer, while eating this way, Doctors could not explain the high cholesterol.  “You are doing all the right things.  The problem must be genetic.  We need to get you on Lipitor.”  On our USDA recommended diet we were getting fatter, had high inflammation, achy bones and we were still starving 2 hours after stuffing ourselves. Sound familiar?</p>
<p>Tell me, if cows are fed corn and other grains to fatten them up for the market, and we humans are to eat the majority of our diet from corn and other grains to abide by our government&#8217;s USDA recommended healthy diet, how come we wouldn&#8217;t get fattened up with such a diet like the cows?  Oh wait&#8230; this diet is fattening us up along with fattening up the bank accounts of Big Corn and Big Pharma.  Do you see the link here?  The connection between Big Government, Big Corn (and other food commodities), and Big Pharma runs deep!!  Follow the money!</p>
<p>So getting back to my first questions;  Do you want the research of what makes us healthy or sick?  Do you want the evidence?  Do you want to know what is up with this paleo diet thing?</p>
